The problem.A professional-services firm signed a new lease with three weeks' notice. The old cabinet had been patched by four different vendors over nine years — no labels, no diagram, two switches nobody could log into. Their previous IT vendor quoted “we'll see on the day”.

What we did. Surveyed both premises in one visit. Cabled and Fluke-certified the new floor 11 days before the move, while the old office kept working. Ordered the fibre line early — it landed 4 days late, so we ran the first Monday on a bonded 5G failover nobody noticed. Struck the old site Friday 7PM, cut over Saturday, tested department by department Sunday.

“We told staff to expect a day off. Nobody needed it — Monday morning everyone just logged in.”

What a lost day actually costs.

Drag to your numbers — the honest comparison between project price and lost business time.

Your downtime calculation

Most move budgets count the vendor invoice and ignore the bigger number: a floor of staff who cannot trade.

45 people
RM320
2 days

* Cost per head per day = fully-loaded payroll, not basic salary. Excludes missed revenue, client SLA penalties and goodwill loss.

If cutover goes wrong
RM28,800
45 people × RM320 × 2 days of standing still
Indicative project investment:RM16k–32k
Cost of the downtime above:RM28,800
The takeaway: Two lost days costs about what the entire project does — and you would still need the network fixed afterwards. That is the whole case for a pre-built site and an overnight weekend cutover.

What we put in writing.

Contractual commitments, not sales marketing — including the one external risk nobody controls.

Working Monday, or we stay

If your team can't work at 9AM on the first business day, engineers stay on site at no charge until they can. Written into the scope.

Fixed price, itemised

Material and labour listed separately. Variations only with written approval — no discovered-on-site invoices.

Insured & certified

Public liability cover on site, Fluke test certificates per drop, 25-year cabling warranty registered in your name.

The one risk we don't control: ISP lead times

Telco installs slip — regularly. We order early, track weekly, and stage a bonded 5G failover so day one has internet regardless. We tell you this before you sign, not after.

Building management, handled.
