Can you upgrade RAM on Mac Mini M1, M2, or M4?

No. On Mac Mini M1, M2, M2 Pro, M4, and M4 Pro models, memory is unified and physically integrated into Apple Silicon chip packages — it cannot be upgraded after purchase. RAM upgrades are only possible on Intel-based Mac Mini models (2018 and earlier in some cases). If you need more RAM, the M-series Mac Mini must be configured at the point of sale. We can however advise on SSD options and performance tuning for your current configuration.

Is there a Mac Mini M3 model?
