Can TechFix repair a laptop motherboard instead of replacing it?
Yes. We inspect the board under microscope, isolate the failed circuit and repair the component where practical. This is usually cheaper than replacing the whole board.
Will board repair erase my data?
Board repair normally does not touch the storage drive. TechFix does not offer standalone data recovery; if storage damage or soldered-storage risk is suspected, we explain the risk before repair.
How much does laptop logic board repair cost in Malaysia?
Simple board repairs start from RM 350. More complex liquid damage, multiple short circuits or premium devices are quoted after diagnosis.
How long does motherboard repair take?
Most board repairs take 2-5 working days after diagnosis. Express repairs may be possible when the fault is clear and parts are available.
