Can my MacBook SSD be upgraded?

MacBooks from 2012-2017 are generally upgradeable. Models from 2016+ with soldered SSDs (M1/M2/M3 MacBooks) cannot be upgraded. Bring your MacBook for a free compatibility check.

How much faster will my MacBook be after SSD upgrade?

Upgrading from HDD to SSD: 5-10x faster. Upgrading to newer NVMe SSD from older SSD: 2-3x faster. You'll notice significantly faster boot times, app launches, and file transfers.

Will I lose my data during SSD upgrade?

No. We perform complete data migration. You can choose between full system clone (exact copy) or clean macOS install with data restoration. We backup everything before starting.

What SSD brands do you use?

We use high-quality SSDs from Samsung, Crucial, Western Digital, and OWC. All SSDs come with manufacturer warranties (3-5 years) plus our 3 Months - 1 Year Warranty for the installation; longer warranty options are available.

How long does SSD upgrade take?

2-4 hours including data migration. For very large data (1TB+), it may take up to 6 hours. We offer same-day service for most models.

Can I keep my old SSD?

Yes. We return your old SSD to you. You can use it as an external drive (with enclosure) or keep it for data security purposes.
