Established 2013 · Warehouse endpoint and network assessment

IT Support for Logistics and Warehouses Malaysia

Assess warehouse Wi-Fi, workstations, handheld endpoints, label-printing dependencies and vendor escalation paths without pretending to operate the warehouse-management platform or industrial systems themselves.

  • Identify the technology points that can stop dispatch or receiving
  • Assign device, network and application escalation ownership
  • Scope support around real sites, shifts and dependencies

Scope and process

What to assess before the work starts.

01

Warehouse workflow and dependency map

Receiving, picking, packing, labelling and dispatch are mapped to the equipment and vendors they depend on.

  • Critical work zones and operating windows
  • Endpoint, printer and network inventory
  • Warehouse-management and courier-platform vendor contacts
  • Known single points of failure

02

Warehouse Wi-Fi assessment

Coverage complaints are measured before access points are moved or purchased.

  • Aisles, loading bays, offices and cold or high-rack areas
  • Signal, interference, roaming and client-density evidence
  • Switch, cabling and power constraints
  • Remediation options separated from the assessment

03

Handhelds and rugged endpoints

Device work starts with model, ownership, warranty and failure evidence rather than a blanket repair promise.

  • Barcode scanners, tablets and vehicle-mounted endpoints
  • Charging, battery, screen and connectivity symptoms
  • Spare-pool and swap readiness
  • Manufacturer or specialist escalation where required

04

Label and document printing

Printer faults are isolated across hardware, media, drivers, queues, network paths and source applications.

  • Thermal and office printer inventory
  • Driver, queue and print-server dependencies
  • Label stock and calibration checks
  • Application-generated format issues routed to the software vendor

05

Driver and field-device control

Management options depend on device ownership, platform support, licences and written authority.

  • Company-owned versus BYOD scope
  • Enrollment and identity prerequisites
  • Approved remote actions and leaver handling
  • Connectivity and support boundaries outside the warehouse

06

WMS and third-party escalation

TechFix gathers endpoint and network evidence; the warehouse-management vendor remains responsible for proprietary application defects unless separately contracted.

  • Reproducible symptoms and affected users
  • Connectivity and endpoint checks
  • Logs or screenshots safe to share
  • Named escalation owner and ticket reference

07

Shift-aware support design

Coverage is proposed against real operating hours, site access and business impact.

  • Authorised requesters and severity definitions
  • Remote and onsite eligibility
  • Site induction, escort and safety requirements
  • No round-the-clock coverage or response-time promise before written acceptance

08

Pricing and mobilisation inputs

A quotation follows verified locations, devices, shifts, travel and vendor boundaries.

  • Warehouse and office count
  • Endpoint, printer and network inventory
  • Support windows and access restrictions
  • Hardware, licences and third-party charges itemised separately

Scope boundaries before quotation

Assessment confirms compatibility, delivery ownership, timing, dependencies and price.

  • Hardware, parts, licences, travel and third-party charges are quoted separately unless the proposal says otherwise.
  • Dates, compatibility, downtime and response targets are confirmed only after assessment.
  • TechFix supplies repair parts and does not accept customer-supplied repair parts.
  • TechFix does not provide deleted-file data recovery.
  • TechFix does not develop, administer or guarantee a proprietary WMS, courier platform or ERP unless the accepted proposal explicitly names supported tasks.
  • Industrial controls, conveyors, PLCs, machinery, vehicle systems and safety-critical equipment are outside this service.

Frequently asked questions

Can TechFix fix warehouse Wi-Fi dead zones?

TechFix can assess coverage, interference, roaming, cabling and equipment constraints, then quote an evidence-based remediation. A result is not guaranteed before the site assessment.

Does TechFix support our warehouse-management system?

TechFix can diagnose endpoint and network dependencies and prepare evidence for the WMS vendor. Proprietary application support remains with that vendor unless a written proposal defines otherwise.
