Express Repair FAQ

How fast is TechFix Express repair?

Turnaround depends on the repair: iPhone screen replacement takes 30–60 minutes, iPhone battery 30–45 minutes, MacBook screen 2–4 hours, MacBook battery 1–2 hours, SSD upgrade 1–2 hours, and backup restoration 2–6 hours. We give you a firm time estimate on arrival before any work begins.

Is there an extra charge for express same-day service?

Yes. Express priority service carries a 30% surcharge on the base repair price. Standard pricing applies if you choose regular turnaround (1–3 business days). We will always quote you both options upfront so you can decide.

Do I need to book ahead or can I just walk in?

Walk-ins are always welcome at Sunway. However, for express same-day service — especially for MacBook repairs — calling ahead by 30 minutes helps us prepare parts and assign a technician immediately. For Cyberjaya, Putrajaya, Bangi, and Kajang, WhatsApp 017-355 5725 for pickup.

Is express repair available every day?

Express repair is available Monday to Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 10am-3pm at Sunway. Cyberjaya customers can use pickup and courier service. We do not offer Sunday express service. For after-hours emergencies, WhatsApp us and we will advise.

Does express repair come with a warranty?

Yes. All repairs — express or standard — carry a 90-day warranty on parts and labour. The priority surcharge does not affect warranty coverage. If any issue arises with a repaired component within 90 days, we fix it at no additional charge.
