How the diagnosis works

You approve a number before anyone opens the machine wider than the diagnosis requires. There is exactly one moment where money is committed, and it is step three.

    Walk in, or send a photo first

    Bring it to Sunway Geo, book a courier from anywhere in Malaysia, or message us a photo of the machine and the sticker on its underside. We will tell you what is likely before you travel.

    We find the actual fault

    The same symptom has several causes — a laptop that will not power on could be the charger, the DC jack or the board, and those are very different prices. This is what the RM100–150 buys.

    You get a number, in writing

    Parts and labour, itemised, for your specific model. Proceed and the diagnostic is waived. Decline and you pay the diagnostic only, then take the machine home.

    Most screen, battery, keyboard, RAM and storage work is finished the same day. Board-level work runs two to five days because it is done at component level rather than by swapping the whole board.

Most minor repairs like screen or battery replacements can be done within 2-4 hours. Complex motherboard repairs may take 2-5 working days.

Do you offer warranty on laptop repairs?

Yes, we provide up to 90 days warranty (3 months) on most parts and labor.

Can you fix water-damaged laptops?

Yes, we have a high success rate with water damage repairs. We recommend bringing it in immediately for chemical cleaning to prevent corrosion.

Do you repair all laptop brands?

We repair all major brands including Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Lenovo, MSI, Microsoft Surface, and Apple MacBooks.

Is there a checking fee?

Our diagnosis is free if you proceed with the repair. If you cancel after diagnosis, the RM100–150 diagnostic fee applies.
