Do you charge if you can't fix my device?

Accepted Answer

No. TechFix operates on a strict No Fix, No Fee policy. If our technicians cannot repair your device, you pay nothing beyond the initial diagnostic fee (RM 50, which is waived if you proceed with the repair).

What warranty do repairs come with?

All repairs carry a 90-day comprehensive warranty covering parts and labour. If the same fault recurs within 90 days, we fix it at no charge.

How long does a typical repair take?

Most common repairs — screen replacements, batteries, keyboards — are completed same-day, often within 2–4 hours. Complex logic board or liquid damage repairs may take 3–7 days. We'll give you a precise timeline after diagnosis.

Do you use original Apple / OEM parts?

We use genuine OEM-grade components that meet or exceed manufacturer specifications. For Apple devices, we stock original Apple parts as well as premium third-party equivalents — we'll discuss options and pricing with you before proceeding.

Can I book online and bring my device later?

Yes. Use our online booking system to reserve a time slot, or walk in to either our Sunway or Cyberjaya location. Walk-ins are welcome and typically seen within 30 minutes.
