The Transformation

Before & After Results

Before Repair

Michelle, owner of a marketing agency in Kuala Lumpur, experienced her worst nightmare. Her MacBook Pro 2019 suddenly died - completely black screen, no power, no response. The laptop contained 8 years of critical business data: 5,000+ customer contact database, all financial records and invoices since 2016, ongoing campaign files for 12 clients, proprietary marketing strategies and proposals. The devastating part? She had been meaning to set up backups but never did. Her business was paralyzed. Her accountant needed the financial data for an upcoming audit. Clients were waiting for campaigns. She was in a complete panic, fearing her business would collapse.

MacBook 100% dead - no power, black screen

Logic board catastrophically failed

1TB of encrypted business data inaccessible

8 years of work - NO backup whatsoever

5,000-customer database at risk

Financial records for audit inaccessible

Active client campaigns stuck

Business completely paralyzed

Potential business closure if data lost

After Repair

After diagnostic testing, we found the logic board had failed catastrophically - power management IC completely dead, no hope of repair. However, the SSD appeared physically intact. We carefully removed the SSD from the dead MacBook using specialized tools. Since Mac SSDs are T2-encrypted and paired to the logic board, we couldn't simply read it on another machine. We used advanced data recovery techniques: First, we attempted to repair the logic board just enough to power on and decrypt the SSD - this involved micro-soldering repair of the power circuit. After 6 hours of work, we got the MacBook to power on for brief moments. During these windows, we rapidly cloned the SSD to an external drive using professional recovery software. The process required multiple attempts as the MacBook kept dying. Finally, after 18 hours of intensive work, we successfully recovered all 987GB of data.

Customer database (5,000 contacts) recovered

8 years of financial records retrieved

All active client campaigns accessible

Proprietary documents and proposals saved

Data copied to 2 external backup drives

Business operations fully restored

Future data protection ensured

"I was absolutely devastated when my MacBook died. Eight years of my business - everything - was on that laptop. I know I should have had backups but I kept putting it off. When Ahmad told me he might be able to recover my data, I was skeptical but desperate. The 18 hours they spent working on this felt like eternity. When Ahmad called me to say they recovered everything - ALL 987GB - I literally broke down crying in relief. My customer database, all my financial records for the audit, my clients' campaigns - everything was saved. They didn't just recover my data, they saved my business from collapsing. The RM 1,200 was the best money I've ever spent. They even set up cloud backup for me so this never happens again. I can't express how grateful I am."
